I have a 2020 Subaru ascent Limited, and my gas mileage is terrible. I’m lucky if I get 15 mpg city and prob like 18 highway. I only have 9k miles, bought it brand new, keep up with all the scheduled maintenance. Idk what’s wrong.. the dealership told me I needed to break in the engine but that was like 6k miles ago.

SubieTim. Best way to improve mileage is to stick to highway driving on either flat or ideally downhill terrain. If you can manage a tailwind even better! Seriously though it will vary based on the type of driving and terrain. I have been averaging 19-20 with a mix of highway and local trips.
